We calculate your Overall Score by converting each section grade into a numerical score. We follow this scoring chart:

A = 4 | B = 3 | C = 2 | D = 1 | F = 0

Then, we add these scores and divide by a perfect score (4 X # of section grades). The result is displayed as a percentage and rounded to the nearest whole number.

How are Website grades calculated?

Website grades are a reflection of your business’s website performance, based on Google’s PageSpeed Insights. Each grade in the Website section is determined by the percentile range your business falls into when compared to other businesses in the same industry.

Overall Website Grade
To determine your overall Website grade, the individual sections are first converted into numerical scores. This is done using the scale below:
A = 4 | B = 3 | C = 2 | D = 1 | F = 0
We divide the sum of these scores by the number of individual grades within the Website section. Finally, we convert that score back into a letter grade.

How is the SEO grade calculated?

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) grade is a reflection of your business’s search engine visibility. The grade is determined by the percentile range your keywords’ estimated value per click falls into when compared to other businesses in the same industry.
 
Estimated Value Per Click = Estimated Monthly Value of Clicks / Estimated Monthly Clicks
 

Organic Keyword Performance Breakdown:

Ovelap = How similar you are to your competitors, based on common SEO keywords

Keywords = The number of keywords for which you and your competitors show up in the top 50 search results on Google.

Clicks = The estimated number of clicks you and your competitors get from all of your organic keywords.

Value = The estimated value you and your competitors are getting from all your organic keywords.

Organic Keyword Ranking Breakdown:

Keywords = The words and phrases that customers are using to find you on Google.

Competitiveness = How difficult is is to appear in the top Google Search results.

Rank = The position of your website in Google Search

Local Searches = The estimated number of clicks your get per month within your country.

Global Searches = The estimated number of searches per month across Google.

The Listings grade is a reflection of your business’s online listings. Each listing source is assigned a score based on how popular the site is. For example, having an accurate listing on a popular site like Google Maps will have a greater influence on your Listing Score. The Listings grade is determined by the percentile range your business falls into when compared to other businesses in the same industry.
